Research Study on Widening the scope of local CSO actors to achieve solutions for climate-induced conflicts over resources in Tana River Delta in collaboration with Food-first Information Action Network (FIAN)- Germany, Centre for Minorities’ Rights Development (CEMIRIDE) and The Center on Migration, Citizenship and Development (COMCAD) of University of Bielefeld–Germany

Implemented Seed of Change Project targeting vulnerable youth in the informal settlement to be empowered towards social justice & equity. [in partnership with CEIPES of Italy]

Implemented Kibera Soccer for Peace Project (KISOPP) in collaboration with Global Goals (UK) using sports to engage young people in Peace building & conflict transformation in Kibera

Implemented Job Shadowing project where youth leaders in the North are exchanged with youth leaders from the South to learn on different youth work and working environment [in collaboration with United Network of Young Peace builders ]

Giving new impetus to Angel Girls Educational & Rehabilitation Centre (AGERC)-Mathare which is a non –formal girls’ only educational institution providing basic learning to vulnerable girls [in collaboration with Chairman Emeritus of Hindu Council of Kenya (HCK) Mr. Prabhudas Dhamji Pattni]

KYF in partnership with United Network of Young Peace-builders hosted Youth in Motion for Peace Seminar in Nairobi bringing together 35 participants from different African Countries who are member organizations of United Network of Young Peace builders (UNOY) based in The Hague, Netherlands

KYF implemented Pilot project Capacity Strengthening Initiative –Kibera (CSI-Kibera) with Vision Brothers Youth Group in Kibera |

KYF implemented Kenya Rural Youth Livelihood Strategies Programme (KERYLIP) in Nyando District of Nyanza Province targeting youth working in agriculture & related activities. The project was awarded Certificate as the 2nd Runners UP in Youth Category in the East Africa –UN HABITAT Small Municipality Award (MILGAP)

KYF organized parallel Youth workshop during the ICASA Conference held in Kenya at Kenyatta International Conference Centre, the Conference was crown by vigil candle night to remember those who died out of HIV & AIDS

1999 -2006
KYF joined Global Youth Service Day Celebration to recognize & celebrate year round contribution of young people in building their communities through volunteerism. KYF became official contact organization in Kenya for five years.

1999 - 2003
KYF joined the National Dialogue on Youth Policy Development which was historic as far the mandate of KYF concerned as well as shaping the youth work in Kenya. KYF participated in the process for 5 consecutive years. This process was led by the Government of Kenya

KYF has actively participated in the International Rural Youth Leadership Training Workshop which is held after every two years in Heersching, Bavaria in the Federal Republic of Germany

KYF participated actively in the Conference In the Trade of Endangered Species (CITES) Conference held in Kenya, KYF was part of the Campaign to protect the Elephants which was being pushed by Kenyan Government through Kenya Wildlife Services through banners & posters

KYF joined Global Youth Action Network (GYAN) the biggest internet based network where KYF learnt on key youth projects globally and sharing of experiences in youth work which helped the organization in shaping its programs in the formative stages
